In order to give our UK supporters with an opportunity to contribute to the advancement of human rights of children and adults with intellectual disabilities and mental health problems, MDAC has established a sister charity in the UK, called Mental Disability Advocacy Centre-UK (MDAC-UK) which was launched at an event in the House of Lords in London on 12 January 2009. MDAC-UK is registered with the Charity Commission of England and Wales (Registered Charity Number 1124016). MDAC-UK is proud to be sponsoring MDAC's roundtable event in Bulgaria on 3 November 2009.
